This is the city o the "Running of Bulls", one of the most famous events in all the country. Ernest Hemingway loved Pamplona for this spectacle which is part of the popular festival of Sanfermines, as he loved bullfighting in general.
Not only this city is a well preserved historical, but also one of the centre of the Spanish folklore.
Around Plaza del Castillo, surrounded by the most important landmarks, you will find a large number of traditional bars called "poteo". That means to have a glass of beer or wine, together with a snack, called "Picho" or "Pintxo", an indispensable habit.
