Wallaman Falls, Girringun National park; about an hour comfortable drive from Tropixx Motel offering gorge scenery, tropical rainforest, wetlands and woodlands in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. The iconic Wallaman Falls is Australia’s highest permanent single drop waterfall, dropping 268m in a clear fall.
Forrest Beach, Lucinda, Taylors Beach; cosy coastal villages at the southern end of the Hinchinbrook Channel all a short drive away from Tropixx Motel offering beautiful sandy beaches and the finest fishing spots of the region. Hinchinbrook coast is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the breathtaking Hinchinbrook, Orpheus, Pelorus, and Palm Islands.
