*LOVINA (Approximately 3 hours by car)
Lovina, in the north coast of Bali, has black sand beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Dawn charter trips allows for hours of spectacular dolphin watching. Also great for diving and snorkeling
*ULUWATU (Approximately 35 minutes by car)
Uluwatu lies at the southern tip of Bali in the Badung regency famous not only for its unique position, Uluwatu also boasts one of the oldest temples in Bali, Pura Uluwatu. Being a popular surfing spot for the very experienced Uluwatu offers a wonderful vantage point to view a spectacular sunset warungs or small restaurants perched on the cliff offer a comfortable spot to survey the vest Indian Ocean beyond and below the 100 meter high cliffs with panorama on three sides. Monkeys inhabit the temple and cliff face hoping for banana or some peanuts from the visitors.
*BEDUGUL (Approximately 2.5 hours by car)
The mountain resort of Bedugul is well known for its golf course and Ulun Danu, a temple which seems to rise out of the lake to present itself beautifully. Boats, water skiing, and parasailing are among the many watersports available in this area. Open daily, entrance fee Rp. 2500 for local and tourist Rp. 10.000 per person
*TANAH LOT (Approximately 1 hour by car)
One of Bali's most important sea temples, Tanah Lot temple is built atop a huge rock, surrounded by the sea. Build in the 16th century, Tanah Lot's rituals include paying of homage to the guardian spirits of the sea. Poisonous sea snakes found in the little caves at the base of the rocky island are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders. Open daily.
