Golf - Royal Chinderah is an established 18 hole public golf course, the greens are challenging, the manicured lush surface mown daily to a height of 3 mls. The course has bunkers and water hazards and a few hundred native trees to avoid. We may have to give you a couple of drinks to revive you when you return.

Shopping - nn the Kingscliff village, lovely contemporary boutiques, delightful homewares and fantastic books. Coolangatta fun for surf and fashion and 30 minutes to Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast if you have a passion for fashion at Pacific Fair there are over 120 fashion and accessory stores, should be enough for the most dedicated shopper.

Exploring - there are 37 kilometers of beaches along the Tweed coast. World Heritage National Parks to the North and the South well within range for a day’s outing. There is Tropical Fruit World, the Tea Plantation and a host of other adventures. You might like to drive to Byron Bay for lunch.

Dining Out. Fresh local produce, alfresco dining, the surf crashing in the background, you may never want to leave. Your choice of fine dining in a relaxed tropical atmosphere. Sophisticated restaurants, trendy gourmet cafes, exotic Asian foods and great coffee and cake. Kingscliff is becoming famous for its culinary delights. Take a walk up the main street and select your favorite.

Swimming - You are literally 5 minutes drive to the Kingscliff surf club and patrolled surf beach, take a beach umbrella and soak up the sun. Along the Tweed coast you have 37 kilometers of beautiful beaches, so depending on the length of your stay you may wish to explore along the coast. Alternatively pull up a lounge beside the stunning pool and swim to your heart’s content in the garden.

Reading - We have the latest novels and magazines choose a tranquil location in the garden or relax in the library with your favorite

Cycling - You are welcome to take the bikes and helmets and enjoy a cycle along the Tweed River to Fingal Head or to the beach and take advantage of the cycle paths along the foreshore.

Walking - Magnificent early morning walks along the beach where on many mornings you will have the company of the dolphins as you head up from Kingscliff to Fingal Head or simply over to the river for picnics or taking in the beautiful views

Driving - Take some short trips- there's Tropical Fruit World to sample rare exotic fruits, indulge in the Arts at the new gallery in Murwillumbah and make time for a great lunch at Mavis's Kitchen with Mt Warning as your backdrop.

Fishing - Rods and equipment all available for your pleasure/ happy to cook the catch of the day. Try your luck for a big mud crab and put the pots in our creek. Further afield great fly fishing at Tyalgum 30 minutes drive.
