Generally swimming is great along the whole stretch although some areas are busier than others and if you want a slightly more secluded swim it would be worth heading south to Chaweng Noi. One of the great luxuries of Chaweng Beach is the glut of enterprise as sellers walk around offering anything from cooked food to cold drinks and even massages. You don't even have to leave the beach if you really don't need to.

Just in case you fancy a change from lounging on the shore there is everything from spas, crazy golf and even a bungee jump to choose from. Chaweng Beach Road is home to the bulk of commerce in the area and strolling along here will lead to countless shopping opportunities. By the time the sun sets this very same road turns into a hive of night time activity and restaurants serve up culinary delights from all over the world. A short distance from a number of Chaweng hotels is the renowned Soi Green Mango which is a small street just off Chaweng Beach Road. This is where the most notorious nightlife exists as raucous pubs and go-go bars battle for your attention.
