Hello Kate, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Takatu and Matakana in general, particularly enjoying the service given at the lodge. We do offer a supper platter for those who prefer to eat in, suitable for 2 people and served in the privacy of their own suite. If choosing this option on your first night we need to know prior to arrival so we are prepared. Thank you.

Hello Anna. Thank you for your positive review. We love what do, especially ensuring the attention to detail during our guests' stay, the little things in the suites that guests may enjoy. Matakana is a great destination, plenty to do - dining, visiting wineries, art galleries, walking beaches. We're glad you enjoyed what the area has to offer. Heather (owner)
