Sirens is just a short walk from the main street of Katoomba with its many cafes restaurants, galleries, shops and services.
Our establishment is named Sirens for the interest by proprietor, Graeme Sutton, in the works of the great Australian artist, Norman Lindsay. Lindsay’s studio and gallery is open to the public at the lower blue mountains town of Falconbridge. Several reproductions of Lindsay's work are hung in the house.
You can walk, take a bus or drive to Echo Point and see the famous Three Sisters rock formation, just 2kms from our property.
The scenic railway and skyway attractions are a short distance away, located on the edge of the spectacular southern escarpment. Many delightful walking tracks can be accessed nearby.
Katoomba is surrounded by remarkable rock formations including waterfalls, landslides, the striking Mount Solitary and the unusual narrow neck peninsula.
Katoomba golf course offers a challenging 18 holes with a relaxing club house.
From Sirens, drive through the scenic routes onto Blackheath and the Megalong Valley, the historic town of Mt Victoria, and the famous Mt York Lookout and the Jenolan Caves.
