Beihai Silver Beach----No.1 Beach under Heaven
A national Scenic Spot at Level 4A. Extending 24 kilometers flat and wide, the Silver Beach is a clean and safe place for swimming. Featuring a long and smooth beach, fine and white sand, warm and clean water, soft waves and no sharks. Many Chinese and foreign experts listed the Beach the best seaside bathing place and holiday resort in China. In 2001, Beihai Silver Beach Park was rewarded as one of China’s first batch of national scenic spots at Level 4A, and listed by China’s Tourism Administration as the Best Get-away Destination among the 35 Ace scenic spots.

Weizhou Island, a National Geological Park

Weizhou Island is 22 nautical miles away from Beihai city. As the biggest island in Beibu Gulf area, it covers an acreage of 26 square kilometers. (Including Xieyang Isle) The island was listed as one of the Top Ten of China’s Nice Islands by Chinese National Geography. Highlighted by the unique volcanic lava, sea-eroded physiognomy, pleasant climate, fresh air, ample sunshine, quite beach, various coral, rich ocean resource and local fishermen’s culture, the island is the first choice for sightseeing, adventure exploring and holidaying. Situated nine nautical miles to the southeast of Weizhou Island , Xieyang isle covers an area of 1.89 kilometers. It is widely honored as a small Penglai for its flourishing trees and unique rocks and the pure and simple folkway.

Old Beihai Town and street
The Old Town covers an area of 0.4 square kilometers. Inside the town two archaic streets, the 1.6 kilometers long Zhuhai Road and the 1.7 kilometers long Zhongshan Road go parallel along the northern coast. They are the straightly longest and best preserved arcade buildings streets in Lingnan region of China. The arcade buildings present smooth carving and decorating in their window arches and diversified styles in the parapets of the elevation roof. A combination of Chinese and Western carving and decorating, it is reputed as an “Aerial Sculpture Corridor”. After the Sino-British Chefoo Convention was signed in 1876, eight countries, including Britain, France, Germany, the United State, Italy, Portugal, Belgium and Austrian-Hungary Empire established consulates, firms ,churches and hospitals in the surrounding area of the old town. Until now eighteen sites of the foreign architectures have been well preserved and have been listed as protected units of China’s key cultural relics. The Old Town is also the ideal place to stock up on bargain-priced souvenirs.

The National-grade Shankou Mangrove Ecology Protected Area
----Member of “People and Biosphere Protected Region”
Stretched over the beaches of a peninsula by Yingluo Bay, southeast of Hepu county, the State Council entitled this Mangrove Forest National Sea Natural Protected Zone in 1990, and joined in UNESCO “ People and Biosphere Protected Region” recently. The total acreage is 8000 hectares. Mangrove Ecosystem is one of most diversified and high-productive Ocean Ecosystem in the world. There are abundant halobios living in this peculiar viviparous Hurst, which appear and disappear along with flood tide and ebb tide. The flourish Mangrove forest provides the ideal habitat and food resource to halobios, therefore, the 1st Class National Protective Animal “ sea-maiden” inhabits here.

Beihai Underwater World
----4A National Tourist Attraction
Located in walking distant to the hotel. The National 4A Rank Tourist Attraction. The biggest Underwater Attraction for Sightseeing in the West Region of China. Here you can see the all-round tunnel with the staff member feeding the fishes. In the large-sized glass with water, you can see the girls and the shark dancing together and listen to the legend of dugong.

The World Shellfish & Coral Museum
It is the first biggest live shellfish and coral museum in China, which collects thousands varieties of shellfish and coral all over the world.

Oceanorama Beihai

It’s an oceanic aquarium, which is the most wonderful Ocean Theatre in China, colourful living corals would, varieties oceanic technology culture and convulsing 4D live movie and so on.

The South Xingdao Lake
Located within Hepu county . The spot was formed after the completion of a water reservoir. The lake covers several square kilometers and contains of 1,026 islands with an area of 600 square kilometers. The famous TV serial “Shui Hu” was shoot here, where ancient buildings give you the feel of being placed back into the Song Dynasty.
