Visit the many restaurants, cafes, clubs and hotels offered in the area for a relaxing meal or a few beverages.
Sporting facilities include lawn bowls, golf, tennis and of course fishing and beautiful ocean front walks. Deep sea dive trips can be arranged and offshore snorkelling, direct from our beach garden is a must. Bike hire can also be arranged.
A fifteen minute drive will take you to the thriving city of Bundaberg, with all the facilities you would expect from a Queensland regional city. Home to the world renowned Bundaberg Rum Distillery, tours and tastings can be arranged.
A half hour loop either north or south will take you to the quaint seaside towns of Innes Park, Elliott Heads, Coral Cove and Moore Park Beach.
Day trips to the heritage listed Lady Elliott and Lady Musgrave Islands are a must see, as is the annual turtle hatchings between November and February at Mon Repos Conservation Park. Mon Repos is the largest nesting site for majestic marine turtles and the most significant loggerhead turtle nesting population in the South Pacific Ocean.
