San Mateo on Broadbeach
San Mateo is centrally located and only 50 metres back from the patrolled beach between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. We are just a short stroll along the beach promenade to the Broadbeach and Oasis shopping centre restaurants and cafes. The property is also handy to Jupiters Casino, the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Pacific Fair shops and movie theatres. We have cafe and coffee venues very close at hand. San Mateo also does its own car hire with excellent specials for in-house guests. Our reception has the licence to book all your tours and tickets for ALL attractions on the Gold Coast.

- Close to beach
- Dirty carpets, broken blinds, sliding door wouldn't shut, generally tired decor with shabby furniture and very uncomfortable sofa and chairs.
- Smelly air conditioning unit which I would deemed unsafe to use.

Thank you Debbie for taking the time to make your comments. Our web site does mention ocean views from many apartments as we are one street back it is naturally difficukt to offer beach views. Also most of our guests do walk the 800 m to Broadbeach and 1.3 km to Surfers. It is a lovely stroll along the boardwalk or the beach. We are thrilled with our housekeeping staff. They do a great job and work so hard

- Can't think of a bad thing to say about San Mateo.
- Close to the beach, shopping and casino.
