This coment about the host being rude just makes you look so wrong , common knowledge is " we have japanese staff here every year" , Treated well and we follow lots of their customs such as being thankful we can eat and being thankful that we dont live in a country where people are starving because of war,i know for a fact that neither the hosts or anybody connected to this lodge would have made a racial comment as its not in our nature ,

  • The host - welcoming - he can cook and made you feel at home
  • A bit further from the snow but the whole package is worth it
  • A great 'package' - clean, lodge atmosphere, friendly host, more than bed and breakfast - dinners on demand and the pancakes are to die for!

  • Genuinely friendly staff, who believe in their guests and a proprietor whose full of life and stories. A great country site with quick access to snow
  • A bit out of town so make your own fun on site. Cleanliness is adequate, dirty under beds etc. with rubbish, spider webs, dirt, smokey lounge at meals
  • Good if you want a quiet stay but make your own action. Staff have a mile of stories and great experiences to tell!
