Relax and slow down, there are glorious riverside walks where you can feed the ducks, try exploring Richmond Jail, visit Hobart old town model village and shop in the many gift shops. If you like to dine out, enjoy a meal at one of Richmond's fine eateries. Take a short drive to Hobart city to visit the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA), the sensational new museum that is taking the world by storm. You can explore Richmond Maze. Richmond is also home of the famous Richmond Bridge, the Minature Village Hobart Old Town and Richmond has its own jail which is older than Port Arthur. Richmond is also well known for its beautiful Churches. There are several wildlife parks such as Bonarong Wildlife Sanctuary close by.
