At the heart of one of the most
important archaeological sites in the world, one can find the Valley of the Temples and Selinunte,
which are only half an hour away. Whereas Cefalu and Palermo are a little further away (an hour
away), but they make for an excellent day out.
Let us not forget the other aspects of this island and what it has to offer: stunning coast lines, a
fantastic climate, beautiful architecture, ceramic craftsmanship and a cuisine not to be forgotten.
During the winter season one can also experience one of the oldest carnivals in Sicily with its
wonderfully vibrant carnival floats. One can become immersed in this traditional festival of fun that
is both unique and unforgettable.
