Penguin Parade
Every evening at dusk, delighted visitors watch the world?s smallest penguins as they gather in small groups at the water?s edge and then set off across the beach to their burrows in the dunes. This parade is only 15 minutes away and is a must for all visitors to the island.
Ask about the Penguins Plus - enjoy the Penguin Parade from an exclusive viewing platform and boardwalk limited to 150 people per night. Rangers are on hand to provide interpretation of the world?s smallest penguins and their fascinating lives.
Private Penguin Parade experience
Enjoy the Penguin Parade from an exclusive area on the beach. Each guest will be supplied with binoculars, a mat and headset for the live commentary from their personal ranger. No children under 12 years are permitted.
Ultimate Penguin Tour
The best penguin viewing in Australia! This is the premium penguin experience on offer and ideal for those seeking a more personalised intimate wildlife experience. Designed for groups of up to 10, this advanced accredited eco tour takes visitors to a stunning, secluded beach to view Little Penguins waddling ashore to their sand dune burrows. The beach is in a completely different location to the Penguin Parade. No Children under 16 years are permitted. Sturdy footwear and a minimum level of fitness is essential for walking and climbing stairs.

Stroll through bushland and experience koalas in their natural habitat. Meet koalas ?face to face? on our treetop boardwalks. This centre is dedicated to koala research and conservation ? your visit helps us with this important work.

- Secluded eco cabins with gorgeous views from every room. Totally relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of the city!
- There was no portable air drying rack for clothes. There was a dryer however, a portable air drying rack would have been handy.
- Would highly recommend this accommodation.
