Glasgow central station and Buchanan Bus Station are both just 15 minutes away whilst Paisley Gilmour Street Station is only 6. The hotel is situated just seven miles from the cosmopolitan city centre of Glasgow, Scotland's largest and most vibrant city. With an abundance of world-class museums and art galleries, an exciting night-life and the best shopping in the United Kingdom outside of London there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery is Scotland's oldest public museum and home to one of the largest collections outside of the National Museums. The historic Glasgow Cathedral is over 800 years old and is the best preserved example of a church to survive the medieval period in Scotland. The Burrell Collection is situated in the tranquil surroundings of Pollok Country Park on the south side of the city and is home to an eclectic collection of historical artefacts, sculptures and art from around the world. If football is your thing, the Rangers' Ibrox stadium is just a 10 minute drive, whilst Celtic Park, home of local rivals Celtic F.C., is only 20 minutes away.
