For those of you seeking total relaxation, feel free to wander the 3 acres of botanical garden surrounding the Homestead. Pull up a seat in the garden, and take in the historic plantings, bird life and rural views. If a glass of chilled wine or a cold beer would help you relax further we are fully licensed.

If you need something a little more energetic, the property itself has a 2km perimeter walk that begins at the main dam behind the School House. The path follows the property?s three dams and then heads between the dams and the main grazing paddocks around the perimeter fences.

Quamby Homestead is a 70 acre working property, and we currently have cattle grazing and chickens. Please do feel free to go and see the chickens ? particularly the children as ours love them!

You may also be lucky enough at various times to see kangaroos roaming by the dams and in the paddocks to the west of the property, down behind the accommodation.
Also you may see some koalas, wallabies and the odd echidna (spiny anteater). You will definitely hear our resident pair of kookaburras laughing in the trees around the dams and there are many flocks of native cockatoos and galahs flying about. We have many possums on the property, so you may see them moving about after dark.

Quamby?s croquet lawn, where the Lindsay?s played, is ready for a game of crocquet, lawn skittles or even petanque. Bring a soccer ball or cricket stumps for the children and they?ll be very at home on the croquet lawn.
