Port Arthur Holiday Park is an ideal spot to explore the whole Tasman Peninsula. Situated at Garden Point, 1km north of Port Arthur, it is central to the area's many attractions including the Port Arthur Historic Site, Coalmines Historic Site, and an array of natural wonders including the magnificent rock formations at Eaglehawk Neck and the Remarkable Cave.

There are a variety of bushwalks available within the Tasman National Park ranging from short half-hour family walks to overnight treks to Cape Pillar. A scenic foreshore walking trail connects the park to the Port Arthur Historic Site.

Stewarts Bay is on the southern side of the park. This beautiful, sheltered beach is safe for swimming or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. On the northern side of the park is Long Bay which has a large boat ramp for those wishing to wet a line, with a variety of bay fish including flathead, perch, salmon and cod on offer.
