The Agnes Water Town of 1770 is an exclusive hideaway for you to discover. Six kilometres of golden sand on Queensland's most northern surf beach on one side and a safe anchorage in the estuary on the other side, it's a true haven.
It's what beachside living used to be like in those carefree days. Where the only foot prints left behind on the beach are yours. Where there are no crowds, and the odd stranger on the beach greets you. The sun, the surf, the Great Barrier Reef, the pristine environment awaits.
• Snorkel & dive the Southern Great Barrier Reef and Lady Musgrave Island
• Learn to surf at Australia’s most northern (and warmest) surf beach
• Take a full day or sunset tour on the LARC
• Explore pristine beaches and rainforest in two National Parks bordering the town
• Fish the local estuaries and beaches or take an offshore fishing charter
• Relax with a massage in your apartment
• Play a round of golf, take a scooter tour of the town, learn to kite surf or stand up paddle board
• Discover the history of the area and origins of the 1770 name at the Museum
