KARAMBUNAI RESORT GOLF CLUB
The 18 hole-par 72 championship gold course (designed by Ronald Fream) is nestled at the foothills of a million-year-old tropical rainforest and is just opposite the scenic Nexus Resort overlooking the turquoise South China Sea. The award-winning golf course has received all-round good comments for being one of the best in the region since it open for play in May 1997. It has been the venue for the World Amateur Inter-team Golf Competition for the last two years and it is a favourite venue for many local golf competitors.

KOTA KINABALU CITY TOUR
Depart from the resort for the City Centre passing by the Central Market and Business District of Gaya to Signal Hill where beacons are lighted to signal ships arriving at the harbour. Drive pass the elite residential area of Likas for a photo stop of the Sabah Foundation Building, a unique 32 floor cylindrical building where steel cables hang floors. Continuing pass the water village of Likas, we proceed to the Sabah state Museum where rich heritage of Sabah, North Borneo is displayed. Before returning to the resort, take some pictures of the State mosque

CRAB CATCHING/MENKABONG WATER VILLAGE
Board a boat from Karambunai Lagoon Park and head towards Mengkabong Water Village on a river cruise, where the local Sea-Bajau community resides. Try the local traditional crab catching and proceed on passing by the local cemetery through the lush tropical mangroves. Stop over for a brief observation and photo shoot of the Water Village before returning to the Jetty.

KINABALU PARK TOUR
Drive 2 hours overland through paddy fields and Dusun villagers over the ridges of the Crocker Range to the foothills of Mount Kinabalu at 5000ft to arrive at the Park headquarters. Visit the education center, botanical garden home to some of the 26 species of flowering rhododendrons, 9 species of carnivorous pitcher plants, 1000 species of orchids, fern, 40 species of oak trees and over 300 species of birds. Take a guided walk on one of the trails in the cool surrounding of the mountain forest before returning to sea level. Take your lunch at a restaurant nearby.

PORING HOT SPRINGS & KINABALU PARK
Drive 2 hours overland through paddy fields and Dusun villages over the ridges of the Crocker Range to the foothills of Mt Kinabalu at 5000ft to arrive at the Park headquarters. Visit the education center, botanical garden home to some of the 26 species of flowering rhododendrons, 9 species of carnivorous pitcher plants, 1000 species of orchids, fern, 40 species of oak trees and over 300 species of birds. Adjourn for lunch. At poring, join a trail walk up to the hanging canopy walkway and experience the primary forest surroundings. Then, take a dip at the therapeutic sulfur baths. Late afternoon, return to resort

KOTA BELUD SUNDAY MARKET
Spend your Sunday with the most colourful tribe among the 32 ethnics in North Borneo the Bajau Horseman fondly known as the Cowboys of the East at the biggest traditional Kota Belud Sunday market. On the way to Kota Belud look at the view of the wooden houses on stilts, paddy fields and plantation. See how they do the barter and banter while you, yourself can also try their foods or fruits there. Later visit to see the Bajau Horseman Show and witness the traditional way of swords making

PADAS WHITE WATER RAFTING
Leaving the resort for a 2 hours drive journey to Beaufort and another 1 hour by train to Pangi. After suiting up and safety instruction by the guide, embark on a 2 hours exhilarating adventure shooting through rapids (headhunter, Padas Cyclone, Cobra Rock, Roller Coaster, Jacuzzi Pools). In moments of respite, body raft down the river and soak in the tranquility of the virgin rainforest followed by lunch before returning.

WHITE WATER RAFTING – KIULU
Depart on an hour drive to the Northbound to Kiulu River. After suiting up and safety instructions by the guide embark on a 2 hours exhilarating adventure through rapids. In moments of respite, body raft down the river and soak in the tranquility of the virgin rainforest followed by lunch before returning.

MONSOPIAD CULTURAL VILLAGE
Depart southbound by van or coach to the Petagas War Memorial where the Kinabalu “Guerrilla’s” whom bravely fought World War II are remembered. Proceed on a leisure drive through small country roads and small Kadazan villagers and paddy fields on the “:Megalithic Belt” to adventure of the local hero “Monsopiad” a famed headhunter and see his trophies in the “House of Skulls”. Before returning to the city, take short stop at the St Michael church the oldest masonry church since the World War II. Opportunities to walk on “Suspension Bridge”

RUNGUS LONGHOUSE TOURS
Depart by a comb-van Northbound to Kota Belud, home of the Bajau Horseman fondly known as the Cowboys of the East and then to the northern tip of Borneo. Kudar where the Rungus tribe live in communes of long house dwellings. Opportunities to see or buy the intricate beadwork and weaving of this ethnic tribe and visit the multi door long house where tribal elders still dress in their traditional costumes. Lunch at local restaurant or packed lunch

MAMUTIK ISLAND TOUR
Tour operates at 0900hrs. Spend the day of the sun, sea and sand on an offshore coral island. Transfer 20 mins by boat from jetty to one island for a day of relaxation and explore jungle trails on your own. Swim and snorkel in crystal clear waters among coral reefs and rainbow colored fishes before returning in the afternoon. Enjoy a BBQ lunch by the beach, enjoying the breeze and scenery

ISLAND HOPPING
Transfer from Nexus resort to the Kota Kinabalu jetty. Take a boat ride for island hopping. Relax under the shady trees on the White sandy beach, swim or snorkel in the sea with vast assortment of marine life and life coral. It is a must for sea lovers. ONE of the islands will be the choice for your BBQ lunch. Catches glimpses of tropical colourful fishes swim in the clear sparkling water.
