Millthorpe Village has a number of local attractions.

Angullong winery has a cellar door just 100m away and we are a short drive from up to 20 local vineyards and wineries. Visitors to Millthorpe can experience the history of the village by taking advantage of the Millthorpe Walks brochure. This self-guided walk shows the historic features with information signs depicting the prior use of buildings and important sites in the village. The Golden Memories Museum allows visitors to step back in time and truly get a feel for the pioneering days of Millthorpe. A working blacksmith’s shop and extremely knowledgeable volunteer staff make a visit to the Museum a must. Local award winning cafes and "hatted" restaurant Tonic make dining a wonderful experience in the village. Visitors can sample quality take away food and coffee from the General Store adjacent the motel (which is also open 7 days for anything you might need); dine on fresh gourmet pizzas from the Bird's Nest Cafe; have coffee, cake or light meals at the Cobblers' Gallery; or sit down for some great pub food at the Railway Hotel.

Shops abound in Millthorpe and cater for every member of the family. Pym Street is where you'll find the General Store, an Old Tyme Lolly shop, recycled fashions, real estate, gorgeous homewares and collectibles. Turn the corner into Blake Street and you'll happen upon Tomolly lifestyle store which has a fabulous and unique range of gifts. Art galleries, too, can be found in the village with prominent local artist Ada Clark opening her home each weekend to visitors.

The village boasts a beautiful oval with plenty of childrens' play equipment, cricket nets and a newly built state of the art skate park for the more adventurous teenager or "big kid".

Our close proximity to Blayney (8 minutes), Bathurst (25minutess) and Orange (15 minutes) make Millthorpe an ideal base for your stay.

Annual events:
Millthorpe Garden Ramble every October long weekend: Beautiful gardens in Millthorpe and surrounds open to the public
Millthorpe Markets: The village oval is transformed as 200 quality stalls descend offering everything from food to jewellery and eclectic gifts.
