During the Winter months a short 20 minute drive to Mansfield gives you the gateway to Mt Buller and the snowfields. During Summer the best boating and fishing combined with all types of water sports can be experienced approximately four kilometres away at beautiful Lake Nillahcootie. This area also boasts a local cinema, local farmers markets, restaurants, taverns and various vineyards and wineries. Mt Samaria provides bush walking, bird watching and scenic drives. Many happy trails can be found in the nearby Strathbogie Ranges, also popular for bush walking, horse riding and trail bike riding.
