| The Palácio da Lousã, formerly known as Palácio da Viscondessa do Espinhal (XVIII), is the first Meliá Boutique Hotel in Portugal. Located in the city centre, this Palace, classified as historical Heritage, hosted the Duke of Wellington and his troops after the victorious battle of Foz de Arouce in 1811. Nowadays, it combines an atmosphere of charm with all the comfort and technology of a modern hotel.
