Takada castle Park: 10 min on foot from Hotel
1.Cherry Blossom Viewing
As home to one of Japan's top thre most famous cherry blossom festivals, Joetsu draws a tremendous turnout evey year.
2.Lotus Viewing
The Moat in Takada castle Park is thought to house the best lotus collection in the Orient, and from early in the morninng many local citizens as well as tourists gather to appreciate its beauty. The optimal time for viewing is during beginning of August.
Asaichi(Morning Market):
On Gangi-dori street(3 minutes on foot from hotel) neighborhood people gather together and open a morning market. The foodstuffs range from season to season. It is very popular with the local people.
