There are many fine wineries in the area and the seaside town of Mandurah is just 10 minutes away offering a variety of sea and river sports and also has many good galleries and restaurants and cafes along the foreshore. For those with the spirit of adventure, Dwellingup, 20 minutes away in the hills of the Darling Range, you can go white water rafting, Sky Diving, hiking and biking and there are great picnic spots on the Murray River.
Close by around the town of Pinjarra, one of the oldest towns in WA, there are many historic sights to visit.
Within 5 minutes there is an 18 hole golf course, the Peel Zoo and an excellent winery.
