Lanigan Abbey Estate is located in historic Gundagai, on the picturesque banks of the great Murrumbidgee River. Lanigan Abbey is furnished in the elegant style of the High Victorian period. Throughout the Abbey there are extensive and beautiful artworks, all chosen to compliment each individual room. A unique part of the Abbey is the Chapel, featuring restored statues, paintings and an organ.

Lanigan Abbey can arrange (on request) exclusive tours of outstanding local historic homesteads. Located within the Estate is the renowned Bandamora Art Gallery, famous for the largest country collection of Australian investment and fine art. For the sports minded, Gundagai has a full range of activities including the outstanding 18 hole Golf Course on the banks of the majestic Murrumbidgee River. The district is also well known for its quality fly-fishing.
