Nestled high on the west coast of Australia lie the wonders of Broome. Here, the Indian Oceans sparkling turquoise waters lap sweeping white beaches and the distinctive red pindan earth of the Kimberley. Spectacular setting suns and rising moons create their own sea of colour.

While Brooms beauty and contrasts are unique, so too is its culture - a melting pot of Aboriginal, European and Asian influences. This eclectic mix defines the famous pearling town and offers a clue to its rich history.

At Kimberley Sands Resort and Spa, we know the private places to escape, the best places to dine, the local artists to visit and the tours and adventures that offer the most memorable experiences. Our Tour Desk can also customise tours and experiences on request from private viewings at the Paspaley Pearls showroom to individual tours of Broome's beaches, galleries and China Town.

Cable Beach is the perfect place to experience Broomes endless horizon of setting suns and rising moons. The beach itself is 22.5 km long with beautiful white sand washed clean daily by tides that can reach over nine meters. Its crystal clear turquoise waters are abundant with turtles, eagles soar overhead and other birdlife nestles in the rocks and dunes. Four wheel drive vehicles may be driven onto the beach and sunset camel rides operate daily along the beach.
