Situated in the heart of the Snowy Mountains we are right on the Highway, half way between Berridale and Jindabyne (15 minutes to Jindabyne). Built at an altitude of 1,120m, the Jindabyne Equestrian Resort is set within a magnificent 200 acre site and is one of the most modern and up-to-date riding establishments in Australia.
We offer accommodation which is both modern and comfortable in three new buildings each with all the modern facilities one would expect.
The 'Resort Lodge' building (superior quality) has large rooms with ensuites (twin or double).

Whilst staying at the resort guests can enjoy horse related activities. From beginner, intermediate to advanced, you will enjoy your time with our experienced operators.
Experience the natural bush, wildlife and farm land in this unique part of Australia with trail rides available to suit all levels of experience and ability. Enjoy a 1 hour ‘Scenic Trail’ ride for $50, 2 hours ‘Horseback Property’ tour for $90, a half day ‘Horseback Historical Site’ tour for $120, and a full day ‘Learn to Ride’ for $200.
Lessons and Pony Rides are also available. Bookings are essential.
Our huge multi-purpose indoor arena is the 'jewel' of the resort, with all the trimmings, fittings and amenities to satisfy the most fastidious of riders.
All facilities are to international standards, making it suitable for interstate and overseas events and an ideal place for clinics and workshops.
This unique and spacious resort has not just riding arenas, it also features a 20 stall (4x4m) all enclosed stable block with a 5m wide breezeway, feed and tack rooms, toilets and outside yards attached. There are also 33 partly enclosed outside stalls (3x3m) available with large holding yards nearby, conveniently located opposite the truck parking area.
Our latest addition is an official size (80x40m) 'rodeo’ sized arena, suitable for cattle, bulls or calf activities, rodeo or jumping events. As well as two outdoor arenas, two lunging yards, holding yards and paddocks.
You can bring your own horse to the resort and use the facilities or enquire about using one of our horses.
Summer Activities.
Besides the activities to do at the resort, guests can enjoy a thousand things to do. Outside the resort the mountains have a lot to offer, from site seeing, fishing, swimming, golf and sailing to bush walking. A walk from Charlottes Pass to Blue Lake or Mt Kosciusko is especially beautiful during mid summer when the wild flowers are in bloom.
We can organize mountain bike tours from Charlottes Pass to Mt Kosciusko, you may even see some snow leftover from winter (snow drift skiing).

Summer is the time to relax and take time out in the Snowies, enjoy a cool break on top with K7 Adventures. We specialise in adventures for individuals, small groups and families and will take you to amazing high country spaces! Try our climbing and abseiling at Signature Rocks. Take a moment to breathe in the cool and clear alpine air as you sit amongst the wildflowers for a picnic then hang off a granite tor as you abseil near Thredbo. Very popular - are our Mountain Adventure Walks - for a special view of the mountains. Our prices are competitive and we offer family discounts. If Jindabyne is where you want to be, come climbing and abseiling at Jindabyne Rock. K7 Adventures is now taking cross country mountain bike rides - affordable and easy fun and natural way to get fit.
Kosciuszko National Park
The Kosciuszko National Park is located in the Australian Alps and contains Australia's highest Mountain, Mt Kosciuszko (2228 metres). Covering 690,000 hectares Kosciuszko National Park is considered one of the world's greatest national parks, and it is internationally recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The park has so many attractions including all the NSW ski fields, the famous Snowy River, bush walks through Alpine herb fields, stunning glacial lakes, open grasslands, woodlands, limestone caves and gorges. Many of Australia's unique wildlife call Kosciuszko home including, emus, wombats, kangaroos, platypus and echidnas. The rare pygmy possum and corroboree frog are also found in this park.
Kosciuszko National Park contains 9 wilderness areas, and its alpine and sub-alpine areas contain plant species found nowhere else in the world.
The parks offers visitors numerous activities including skiing, mountain biking, caving, rock climbing, bush walking. The walk to Mount Kosciuszko from the top of the Crackenback Chairlift at Thredbo Village, is an easy stroll over gentle slopes along a raised metal walking track. The walk is 12 kilometres return.
Snowy Mountains Hydro
See the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme. Considered one of the civil engineering wonders of the modern world. The Snowy Mountains Hydro-electric Scheme took 25 years to construct, and is one of the most complex integrated water and hydro-electric power schemes in the world. The construction of the Snowy Hydro took more than 100,000 people from over 30 countries.
The scheme comprises 16 major dams, 7 power stations (two underground), a pumping station, 145kms of inter-connected trans-mountain tunnels and 80kms of aqueducts. We can arrange buses for schools or other groups.
In conjunction with Lake Jindabyne Trout Fishing Adventures, the Jindabyne Equestrian Resort can organise for you the fishing holiday of your dreams. Utilising all the fresh water mountain streams and rivers in the Kosciusko National Park and of course our magnificent lakes, this will be an adventure you will not forget.
Or do your own thing and fish your favourite spots. We even have undercover parking for your boat.
All these activities are easily accessed from the resort because of our great central location!
We have rooms especially designed for the disabled and the organisation Snowy Mountains Riding for the Disabled operates from our centre.
Winter Activities.
SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING
The Jindabyne Equestrian Resort is located between Berridale and Jindabyne, right on the Highway to the snow, providing easy access to Perisher, Thredbo or Selwyn Snowfields.
The Resort offers guests the use of a drying room so you can dry ski boots and clothes for the next day and a lockable ski room.
K7 WINTER ADVENTURES
Winter is our very own white wonderland where you can enjoy snow shoeing, nordic skiing and ski touring. K7 Adventures has expert and fully accredited Nordic Ski Instructors now working from the Kosciuszko Cross Country Ski School based at the Perisher Nordic Shelter. Nordic skiing is a great family activity including the juniors and seniors! The Kosciuszko Cross Country Ski School teachers beginners to advanced skiers in all techniques; classical, skate and light ski touring. For the adventurous, we will take you ski touring into the mountains. For something a little softer try snow shoeing amongst the snow gums at Perisher or head out from Thredbo to Mt Kosciuszko on snow shoes! Also available from K7 Adventures, Snow Climbing, Snow Craft, Snow Camping and Snow Survival and Ice Climbing with the experts. All year round you can rock climb in Jindabyne or come with us on a cross country mountain bike adventure.
