Sunday Walking Street, Chiang Mai
A more chilled out shopping experience than the Night Bazaar, Chiang Mai's Sunday Walking Street has become more and more popular with Thais and tourists alike. Stretching from Tha Pae Gate square and along most of Ratchadamnoen street, the area is blocked off to traffic from late Sunday afternoon to midnight. The whole of Ratchadamnoen street, and the wats along its length, are filled with colourful stalls selling wares ranging from hill-tribe crafts and blinking lights, to wooden bangles and tasty morsels. There is a great atmosphere helped along by buskers playing down the street. When tired of the shopping, it is fun to sit at one of the bars or restaurants along the strip and watch the hubbub go by.
Doi Suthep
Visit one of the most sacred temple of Chiangmai -Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep,Located on hilltop in Northern-Thai style and containing holy relic of Lord Buddha and enjoy seeing panoramic view of the whole city.Then visit Phu-Ping Palace, their majesties,winter palace, and see the delightfull gardens.
Home Industrial
Visit Home Industries on both sides along Sankampaeng Road. The factories manufacture and sell various types of handicrafts including; Lacquerware,Silverware,Silk,Celadon,Teak-wood carving.After that we go to visit BorSang village which famous in made cotton umbrellas and paper parasols handpainted in wide varieties of floral and animals designs.
Mae Tang Elephant Safari, Oxen-Cart and Bamboo Raft
Visit Mae Tang Elephant Camp to see the Elephant Shows.After that take elephant ride cross the river, up the jungle mountain and stop at The Lisu Hilltribe Village.Then ride on the ox-cart back to The Elephant Camp.After lunch take the Bamboo Raft along the Tang river. Continue to the beautiful Orchid Farm.Then back to Chiang Mai.
Doi Inthanon International Park
Visit The highest peak in Thailand-at 8,514 feet above sea level. On the way there are beautiful scenery including ; the secondary chapel contains a holy Buddha relic.The King and Queen Pagodas where the scenery is wonderful , see the thousand year old Rose ( Rhododendron )(Nov.-Feb.).Have lunch at National Park Headquarters restaurant. Then visit Mao & Karen villages and Wachiratharn waterfall.
City & Temple Tour
Drive through the original castle of Lana kingdom, was built in 1296 AD, It's surrounded by the wall and the moat. Visit famous temples in Chiang Mai such as Wat Suandok ,Wat Prasing ,Wat Chedit Lung
Maesa Elephant Camp
Visit Maesa Elephant Camp to see the Elephant Shows. After the show visitors can enjoy ride on an Elephant. ( Elephant rid optional extra).Continue to the beautiful Orchid Farm.
