The hotel is named after the close mausoleum of Saint Constance, originally built for Constantin’s daughter and later on, during the VI century, turned to baptistery for Saint Agnes Basilica. It gives access to catacombs dating back to the II and VI centuries.

The ancient Villa Torlonia, the latest roman noble villa, surrounded by its gorgeous park, is 500 metres from the hotel. You can enjoy pleasant walks there in the princely manor and the green garden. The peculiarity of this place is the typical English style garden, one of the few cases in Rome, and the number of buildings and pieces of art in the park.
