It was on 17th the December 1921 that a luxuriant caf� named "Elite" came to life, following a plan of the architect Jo�o Queir�s.

Guarany Cafe: Founded in 1933, the Guarany Caf�, mostly known as the musician's coffee shop, stands out due to its special ambience, product of a compromise between the tradition, the quality of its services and the artistic spirit tha has characterised its existence since the beginning. It has always been a place for entertainment, book readings and culture. Now combining that tradition with modernity, the result is a unique space where the organisation of events is also a constant.
