Offering friendly and personalised Kimberley style hospitality, the Kununurra Hotel has long been an integral part of Kununurra and today still remains an important meeting place for the community. Locally known as ?The Pub?, the property was built when Kununurra was first established in the early 1960?s to service the Ord Irrigation Scheme. The Hotel Kununurra is centrally located in the heart of town, close to all amenities such as Coles, the Post Office, the local pool and leisure centre.

-Wander through the City of Ruins, a natural sandstone formation to the right off Weaber Plains Road.
-Have a picnic lunch and maybe launch your boat behind the Diversion Dam. Great photo spot, be crocodile aware.
-Hire a boat on Lake Kununurra, or check out the vast array of flora and fauna that lives there.
-Take in a movie at The Picture Gardens in Coolibah Drive, open during the dry season. You can drive in or you can walk in ? it?s up to you.
-Go for a stroll along the Historical Society Walk Trail. You can purchase a guide booklet from the Visitor Centre.
-Relax in the shade at Celebrity Tree Park, and have a look for the names of celebrities who have planted trees there.
-Drive out to historic Ivanhoe Crossing, the old concrete causeway over the Ord River. Great picnic spot or try your luck fishing for a Barramundi. Be crocodile aware.
