The Folies Berg?re is a music hall-cabaret lying on Rue Richer in Paris in the 9th district. It was very popular between 1890 and 1920 and it is still in activity. The building was originally an opera house designed by the architect, Plumeret. On 2 May 1869, the "Folies Tr?vise" (operettas, comic opera, popular songs, gymnastics) opened its doors. And, on 13 September 1872, it was renamed "Folies Berg?re".

The Opera (8, rue Scribe - 75009 Paris) Charles Garnier, responsible for the building of the Opera for the Emperor Napol?on III, encountered several difficulties before completing this baroque style symbolic building. The architecture combines both Baroque and Renaissance styles: the facade deploys seven arches decorated with marble columns, sculptured groups and allegorical sculptures. and two large golden statues. A "monument to art, luxury, pleasure", the Garnier Opera was designed to meet the aspirations of high society at the end of the 19th century. The red and gold room can cater for up to 2,130 spectators. The auditorium's chandelier weighs six tons and is representative of the grandeur of the Paris Opera. In 1964, Andr? Malraux had the roof covered with a painting by Marc Chagall.

The Eiffel Tower is one of the most symbolic monuments of Paris. Built with puddled iron, it lies on the Champ-de-Mars and measures 324 metres high (including its aerial). It was named after the person responsible for its construction, the engineer Gustave Eiffel. Today, the craziest building ever has become the perfect symbol of Paris and is also one of the most visited monuments in the city.
