Hillcrest Guest House is a recently renovated 1880's Queenslander nestled at the base of Grassy Hill with close access to all shops and attractions.
Hillcrest consists of eight bedrooms of various different configurations to cater for singles to family's.
The Guest House is a shared facility accommodation, as such it has two bathrooms (one male/one female), shared kitchen and dining area, relaxation areas, a 10 metre swimming pool and tropical gardens for all guests to enjoy.

Cooktown has a lot to offer with a long history dating back to when Captain James Cook and the Endeavour called in for repairs in 1770.
There is the James Cook Museum housed in the old Convent.
Grassy Hill - the most magnificent views of the reefs and Endeavour River. (Enjoy a Pizza and bottle of bubbly at the newly updated look out).
Various tours of the Rivers, Reefs and historical attractions including the fantastic Guurbi Tours incorporating aboriginal Cave Paintings with your hosts Willie Gordan and Judy Bennett. Or take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens to Finch Bay and check out the often seen Ulysses Butterfly on the way.
