Tyto wetlands is only 200 metres from the motel were you will find a 3.5 kilometre walk, a one hour drive will take you to Wallaman Falls and view its sheer drop of water over 300 metres, the New Ingham cemetery featuring the promonence of southern european mausoleums where family members are laid to rest together, the Victoria Mill, CSR's first refining mill in Qld which was established in 1883, 18 kilometres to beaches and fishing spots, view the man made Lucinda Jetty over 5.5 kilometres out to sea, many national park walking tracks and streams and view the cane harvesting when in season.
