For over fifty years families have been enjoying the Mesquite Championship Rodeo. The rodeo takes place every Friday and Saturday night from April through September at Resistol Arena. Feel the excitement as cowboys, cowgirls and crazy clowns take on wild horses and big bulls in an air-conditioned arena.

Silver Marina on Lake Grapevine
Some of the best boating and outdoor activities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area can be found at Silver Marina on Lake Grapevine. Boat and watercraft rentals are available from Just For Fun and Tranquil Sails. You'll also be able to grab a burger or snack on the floating covered deck of the Burger Dock. Sit back, relax, enjoy a sunset and watch the Silver Lake ducks as they paddle around.

Six Flags Over Texas

Texas Stadium
Texas Stadium has been home to America's team, The Dallas Cowboys, since 1971. This legendary football complex can seat over 65,000 and boasts a unique open roof design where most of the seats are covered, but the playing field itself is open. In addition to professional football, Texas Stadium plays host to a variety of events year-round including concerts, Supercross, festivals, carnivals, college and high school football and more. The stadium has also hosted the Billy Graham crusade, a Garth Brooks concert and the Big 12 Championship.
