Freycinet Eco Retreat offers stylish accommodation in luxury, executive style eco-cabins. All our facilities are well spaced out on a 1200 acre "Land for Wildlife", which is adjacent to the Freycinet National Park, so the atmosphere is one of a retreat. All of our accommodation offers water and energy efficient low environmental impact examples of green building and every unit has stunning water views. Freycinet Eco Retreat has Eco Certification with Ecotourism Australia to an advanced level.

If you manage to drag yourself away from your lodge you might want to consider the following ?things to do?:
Bushwalking, including the walk to Wineglass Bay lookout or the beach itself and have a swim.
Visit some of the other numerous beautiful beaches for which the area is renowned including Friendly Beaches, Honeymoon Bay or Sandpiper Beach in Swanwick (great for swimming).
You can take a kayak tour, a scenic flight, a 4WD tour or a boat charter or take them all in at Coles Bay.
You may prefer to hire a small boat or a canoe and some fishing equipment and do your own thing in Coles Bay.
If you like sea food then the Marine Farm is almost directly opposite our gate ? it doesn?t get much fresher than that!
In nearby Bicheno you can go on a penguin tour or go diving amongst the kelp forests.
The area is also well known for its boutique wineries.
Sit on the deck of your lodge and enjoy one of the best views in Australia.
