Yas Marina Circuit

Yas Marina Circuit is the only motorsports venue in the world where all of the grandstands are covered and part of its pit lane exit runs underneath the track for premium motorsport events. Grand Mosque
One of the most beautiful mosques (and the 8th largest) in the world, the Grand Mosque's grandeur was commissioned by the late Sheikh Zayed. It can hold up to 41,000 worshipers during prayer. Features include a collection of semi-precious stones intricately inlaid into the marble walls and columns, the world's largest carpet and the world's largest chandelier. Women and children need to wear an abiya whilst inside the mosque, which adds to the cultural experience

The Abu Dhabi Corniche
The Corniche is definitely a highlight of Abu Dhabi, and it's merely minutes from the bustling city centre. This expansive Gulf-side promenade consists of a beautifully maintained esplanade with cycling and walking paths, grassy areas and several choice restaurants and cafes. The beach is on one side, and Abu Dhabi's stunning skyline on the other.

Saadiyat Beach Golf Club
Designed by Gary Player, Saadiyat Island Golf Club officially opened in March of 2010. Said to be one of the most challenging new courses in the world, it still caters for all skill levels with golf school for beginners and the most up-to-date facilities for those wanting to enhance their swings. With the Gulf alongside several fairways, you may be lucky to see humpback dolphins or sea turtles.

Emirate's Heritage Village
Located on the Corniche near the Marina Mall is the Heritage Village. Here, visitors have the chance to see what life was like for the Bedouin tribes before the discovery of oil thanks to such reconstructions as a traditional Bedouin goat-hair tent, mud-brick houses, fishing villages, souqs (market places) and examples of irrigation and wells used for water collection. You can also take a camel ride and watch a demonstration of the sport of falconry. The village's museum has exhibits of black & white photos, pots, jewelry, tools and weapons, as well as a workshop where staff showcase Bedouin skills. At the spice shop, you can sample the unique flavours of the Middle East.

Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort
Expect to see a huge variety of wild and exotic animals from all parts of the world at Al Ain Zoo, including crocodiles, penguins, lions, tigers, pumas, jaguars, reptiles and birds of all types. The nocturnal house has some beautiful regional species (including gorgeous desert cats), and the shaded paddocks create fabulous conditions for a variety of animals such as gazelle and oryx. There is a great picnic area with playgrounds and other activities for children where families can bring their own lunches, as well as a train that transports people around the zoo. One tip: Come early because the tourists start arriving at 1pm

The Big Bus Company
Whether you are short on time in Abu Dhabi or would just like to see all the main sites of the city in one day, The Big Bus Company is the perfect way to sit back, relax and let somebody else be the guide! Desert Islands Abu Dhabi
