Exmouth is the gateway to the Ningaloo Reef and Cape Range National Park. The reef is one of the longest fringing reefs in the world, and only 1 of 2 in the world to be located on the Western edge of a continent.

The Ningaloo Reef is home to an abundance of sea life, just waiting to be explored. You can do this by dive boat, catamaran, coral viewing boat, sea kayak, from the air on a scenic flight, or by simply walking off the beach and snorkeling over it.

From April to July, the world's largest fish, the Whale Shark, migrates through the Ningaloo Reef. Day tours allow you to swim with these gentle giants in a safe and controlled manner. Opportunities are also available to swim with and/or view manta rays, humpback whales and rare sea turtles as they hatch their eggs.

Fishing
Fishing is a popular and very successful pastime in Exmouth. The Beach fishing is always good, while the big species of North West Snapper, Coral Trout and Red Emperor are commonly caught through the professional charter boat day trips. Exmouth is also one of the few places in the world where Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi and Sailfish are caught regularly.

Cape Range National Park
Just 40km north/south of Exmouth is the Cape Range National Park where you can explore breathtaking beaches, rugged limestone ranges and deep canyons. The area is known for its striking contrasts between the turquoise ocean and the rugged red gorges.

Exmouth Escape Resort has a Tour Desk at the reception and the friendly staff are only to happy to advise on daily activities and book tours for you.
