We recommend groceries supplies be obtained on the way to Cradle Mountain, as only basic supplies can be purchased at the Campground next door. There are several other dining options in the area, please ask at reception for recommendations.

Having established your base at Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village you are within easy access of many activities within the region including a choice of wild river cruises, mine and cave tours, lavender farms, mazes, gardens, wineries and cheese, honey and raspbery producers as well as a wildlife Park where you will come face to face with a Tasmanian devil.

Other activities include horse riding, canoeing, mountain biking, night wildlife tours, four wheel driving, fishing or simply relaxing.
