Champers Motor Lodge is your first motel on the left as you enter Gisborne off State Highway 2. Set in spacious grounds, we are located opposite one of Gisborne's top golf courses.
Whilst situated in peaceful, relaxing surroundings, it is handy to the airport, 3 minutes to the city centre and 5 minutes to Gisbornes's top beaches. We are within walking distance to the main rugby and cricket grounds.

Because Gisborne has such great historical significance with Captain James Cook, the Statues are a must as well as the Kaiti Hill lookout point. Gisborne is the first city to see the sunrise and what better way to watch it than on one of our golden sandy beaches.
Close to town there are vineyards to visit a cidery with viewing platform, bush walks, waterfalls, golf courses, horse riding, surfing lessons and a magnificient arboretum which is a must in the autumn.
Gisborne has a laid back and relaxed atmosphere with numerous cafes, bars and restaurants.
Gisborne offers deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, quad adventures, speedway, jetsprint boat racing, rugby, cricket and much more.
