Thanks to the hotel?s privileged location, you can visit some of the landmarks of Barcelona within a very short time. We suggest you start with the Barrio G?tico?the gothic quarter?where you can visit the Cathedral, whose construction was completed at the beginning of the 20th century, and then head towards Pia Almoina and Plaza del Rey, a beautiful square where you will be able to admire the architecture of the City Hall and the Generalitat (Government of Catalonia). If you would prefer to have a stroll in a park, a good place to go is the Ciutadella Park, which hosted the Universal Exhibition in 1888, and which still contains a few original buildings, such as the Museum of Zoology or the Greenhouse. The Barcelona Zoo is also located in the park. Right near it, you will find the Barrio de la Ribera, where you can visit, among other things, the gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar, Plaza del Born and calle Montcada, which is where the Picasso Museum is.
