From Frankston to Portsea are the most picturesque Peninsula beaches on Port Philip Bay, including Dromana, Rosebud and Sorrento. On Western Port Bay the beaches at Somers, Pt. Leo and Shoreham offer very safe swimming and lovely walks. Close by Somers is a large colony of koalas. All beaches are an easy drive from our park.

In and around Frankston is probably the best and most extensive range of golf courses in Australia with 16 championship golf courses. Carrum Downs Holiday Park is an ideal base for your golfing holiday.

At Summerland Beach the Little Penguins arrive at sunset. The award-winning visitors centre is open from 10am. Koalas are readily found on Phillip Island and there are great beaches for swimming, surfing and fishing around the island.
