Victoria Hotels

Our wide range of Victoria hotels are perfect for exploring all Victoria has to offer: From historic landmarks, to the local indigenous culture of the First Nation people; from golfing and outdoor activities, to wineries and culinary delights; from museums and art galleries, to breathtaking scenery and beautiful gardens. Whether you are visiting Victoria for business or leisure, looking for an outdoor adventure or a romantic getaway, or using the city as a gateway to explore the rest of Vancouver Island or Canada, we have Victoria accommodation to suit every budget and holiday need.

While staying in our Victoria accommodation, soak up local history by visiting the area’s historic homes and buildings. Carr House, located in historic James Bay, was built in 1863 and was the childhood home Emily Carr, one of Canada's most famous artists and authors. Point Ellice is considered Western Canada's finest collection of Victoriana in its original setting, dating back to the 1850's. Craigdarroch Castle is an 1890's mansion with exquisite stained-glass windows, woodwork and period antiques, built by coal baron, Robert Dunsmuir. Be sure to check out Fort Rodd Hill, Canada's oldest West Coast lighthouse and still working today.

Our Victoria hotels are a great base for exploring Victoria’s beautiful and historic Inner Harbour. Complimentary historic tours are available at the British Columbia Legislative Buildings, which were built in 1897 and are the centre of provincial politics. Enjoy high tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, which rises regally on the banks of Victoria’s Inner Harbour. The hotel was opened in 1908, before undergoing a $45 million dollar restoration completed in 1989.

Victoria, also known as the Garden City, boasts the mildest climate in Canada. Every February, to celebrate the start of spring, the city undergoes a flower count, in 2005 4.77 billion flowers were counted. Our Victoria hotels act as a great base for visiting the local landmark, The Butchart Gardens, which were started in 1904.

Our downtown Victoria accommodation makes a great base for appreciating local culture by attending a First Nation powwow, or visiting the Royal BC Museum and the Maritime Museum of BC.
