Bush walks start across the road, trout fishing (licence needed) boat ramp opposite B&B, so ideal for kayaking, jetskiing, boating and local public pools around the corner.
We are located in the heart of the Waikato, New Zealand, right in Cambridge Village itself, where there is always something happening...
This beautiful area is renowned for its antiques, the arts, Gaslight Theatre, Olympian sports hero's, Christmas Concert in the Park, AMP Show, Classic Cars, Hobbiton, Stud Farms, Cambridge Raceway, famous race horses, wineries, our many walking tracks, dairy farming, Farmers Market, trout fishing, Classic Cycle Challenge, Mystery Creek Fieldays, rowing and other events out at Lake Karapiro, bush walks and a great choice of Golf courses...
Lake Karapiro has something for everyone... boating, water skiing, kayaking, Dragon Boat Festival, rowing and Maungatautari Mountain our enviable nature reserve with it's many bush walks. There are sandy beaches, ski fields and lots of other adventures all nearby... or, you could simply relax and enjoy the views of the Waikato River from Cambridge RiverView patio, or you could take an 3 minute walk up the hill into our Cambridge Village with our many delightful cafes, restaurants, galleries, boutique stores, antique shops and Museum. In the summer be entertained by cricket on the Village Green, you may even discover our hidden jewel nearby, Lake Te Koutu!?
