Cambridge Coach House was an original Coach House built in 1890 with a substantial, sympathetic addition completed 2010. Accommodation however is completely separate from the main Villa, is beautifully finished and in keeping with the character and charm of the old house.
Every modern comfort can be found in the two luxurious queen suites and Cottage accommodation, which sleeps a larger group. Cambridge Coach House sits on an elevated 1.5 acres of manicured gardens and lawns with sparkling in-ground swimming pool and affords stunning views over Cambridge Township and the hills beyond.

Cambridge boasts a number of high quality artists and studios along with craft shops in and out of the town, and for those with time to fossick you will find a much greater range of one off craft works and commission artists. With the Waikato River running through the town, why not jet boat or kayak on New Zealand's largest river or walk the river paths enjoying the scenery from both sides and admire the engineering feats of the Victoria bridge up close. Discover either one of Maungatautari Ecological Islands from the northern or southern entrances and experience the indigenous wildlife flourishing in its natural habitat - a lush vibrant pest free forest.
The equine industry is a prominent feature in the Cambridge landscape with top breeding studs scattered throughout the region, boasting galloping, trotting, and pacing and show jumping champions. For a slice of that action, the Cambridge Raceway has harness and greyhound racing on a regular basis along with the Horse Magic Show at the Cambridge Thoroughbred Lodge giving visitors the opportunity to see the horses up close. Lake Karapiro and the Mighty River Domain are homes for many national sporting events including Hydro Planes, Waka Ama, Ski Racing, Water Skiing and Rowing.
A hidden jewel, Lake Te Ko Utu has a well established walkway around its perimeter and five different tracks leading down to it from street level, a great spot to take a picnic and your dog.
Approximately 10 mins away the Maungakawa track can be accessed via the Gudex Memorial Park, offering the visitor a panoramic view over the town and greater Waikato. The walk is approximately 30 minutes and the reserve boasts resurgence in native birds such at Kereru (native wood pigeon) and Tui.
