Bestbrook in Maryvale on the Southern Downs is located near Warwick, Queensland. Bestbrook Mountain Resort offers self-rated three star accommodation with nine fully self-contained, two and three bedroom rustic country cabins. Each cabin comes with pot belly stoves, well equipped kitchens, TV, DVD player, linen, towels tea and coffee as well as an outside campfire for a warm winter get together.
There is also a 24 room bunkhouse suitable for groups offering packages inclusive of linen if required.

Go for a bush walk or take a 4WD up the Bestbrook Range running parallel to Gap Creek for a great view of the valley. Most weekends and holidays we make billy tea and damper, demonstrate butter making, boomerang throwing, Australian stock whip cracking and you can take a wagon ride tour of Bestbrook. For groups we demonstrate horseshoeing and shearing a sheep with prior arrangement. You can take a swim in the pool or Gap Creek, catch a yabby, play a game of pool or cook a barbeque. A conference room is also available, which can cater for weddings and functions. We have a large number of horses to choose from so you can arrange for pony rides, riding lessons and trail rides. For the kids we can offer animal feeding, collecting chicken eggs and milking a cow (seasonal) in the morning or afternoon. Kids can also visit the ducks, chickens, turkeys, geese, cows, calves, horses, sheep or pigs that we have on the farm.
