The Thames Valley has many attractions making it a leisure destination as well. We have listed below attractions and events all of which are within easy striking distance of Reading and most importantly out hotel with easy access straight onto the motorway network within a mile of our front door.
www.theoracle.com Shopping – Reading is one of the top ten shopping destinations in the UK. Reading shopping in the town centre is less than 3 miles away from the hotel.
www.readingfestival.com Reading’s famous rock festival over the August bank holiday weekend. A huge event attracting over 200,000 people. We are located about 3 miles from the site with relatively easy access.
www.henleyrowingclub.org The famous royal regatta held at Henley takes place in July each year. We are about 35 minutes drive to Henley.
For horse racing we could not be better placed. Newbury races are 30minutes away, Royal Ascot is about 40 minutes away and Windsor race course is 35 minutes away.
