Invercargill is the gateway to the southern scenic route, The Catlins and Stewart Island all of which have fanastic scenery and wildlife. The Southern Lakes, Te Anau and Milford sound are within a days scenic drive from Invercargill. Bluff is half and hour drive away. Invercargill has beautiful gardens and nice walks. We are 15 minutes away from Oreti Beach where the movie 'The worlds fastest Indian'was filmed. A drive along the southern scenic route is well worth it.
The local attractions include Museum, Rugby Park, Aquatic centre, good shopping, excellent seafood restaurants and good golf courses.
