- Friendly and helpful service from reception, the price was very affordable for my budget single room at the top floor, which had all I needed.
- As warned, there is no lift and the stairs are steep and narrow: not for the unfit! Breakfast between 8-9, although nicely laid out, could be crowded.
- Peaceful hotel. Though manager at reception spoke fluent English, other hotel staff could not: but they still did their best to understand and assist.

- Free wifi in the room. Location was very good. It was close to Hyde park, 5 mins walk from the padding ton train station.
- The noise and the room. We were given a room at the basement, just beside what looked like a storage area! The corridor was packed with things!
- I'm not a difficult customer and I know the standard of London hotels and what to expect. Even so, this left me appalled.
