  • The AIHS is close to major attractions and adequate public transport. It is very quiet and inexpensive and had ensuite facilities
  • Very spartan decor - it is a former hostel but perfectly asdequate for my need for a clean secure room to serve as a base
  • The Reception has a cheery wood fire - very welcoming at all hours in Canberra. Close to Parliament House etc and it has its own history.

  • Very close to the Parliamentary triangle and the art gallery. A pleasure to be in one of the early Canberra hotels. You do get the historical feeling
